WHITES HOLD ON TO DENY FINE UNITED COMEBACK

HASTINGS UNITED battled back bravely but could not claw back Dover’s three-goal lead.
The visitors started brightly with three early corners and a header just over the bar from Jason Fregene. Dover were awarded a controversial penalty on nine minutes that Allen powered home against the run of play.
Hastings thought they had a penalty in the 22nd minute only for the referee to deny them.
