■ IT was a game of two halves at Ipswich where a third minute goal from Charley Barker set the scene for a dominant first half for the home side.
Barker finished well when he found space on the right to put Witham on the back foot.
Witham goalkeeper Amarildo Cekrezi saved brilliantly from Andy Fennell in the seventh minute.
Witham fell further behind when Tom Maycock scored from the penalty spot in the 17th minute.
Cekrezi foiled Fennell again after 30 minutes when a goal looked certain.
