■AN ugly game played out between Basildon and Wroxham at The Hive, the Bee’s digging deep for the win.
The only goal of the game came in the 40th minute via a brilliant cross from Samir Ali. The ball found the in-form Kai
Brown who put the ball beautifully into the net from the tightest of angles. In the second half, Ba- sildon United just couldn’t find a second goal, some excellent saves from the Wroxham’s stopper Ollie Sutton keeping the scoring low.
