MALDON & Tiptree continued their recent good form with a confident win at home to Gorleston.
The hosts started well but were given an almighty let off after 16 minutes when Gorleston’s Luke Johnson hit the ball over the bar from a yard out.
They were made to pay a couple of minutes later when Harrison Chatting laid the ball off to Louis Britton and he fired past Jake Jessup.
Six minutes later, it was two as Britton swept home a Mat- thew Yates cross at the back post to double the lead.
