RAYNESPark Vale returned to the top of the league at the expense of Chertsey Town with a hardfought victory over playoffchasing Uxbridge.
Watched by Chelsea’s Connor Gallagher, whose older brother Josh, is the Vale boss, the hosts were keen to make an early impression.
