SPIRITED Yellas were defeated by Marlow in thrilling Racecourse clash.
In the second minute, Marlow’s Chris Ovenden found himself free in the box from a corner but his header thumped against the bar. Just two minutes later, Ollie Harris fired over from close range after being exquisitely players through on goal. Marlow broke the deadlock in the 30th minute when a pass across the face of the Ascot goal was unfortunately turned in by Yellas defender, George Lock.
