This top-of-the-table clash lived up to its billing with an exchange that kept the bumper crowd on its toes to the last minute, as hosts Chertsey Town overtook visitors Southall by the closest of margins.
Town had an early boost when Conor Lee fired his side into the lead as early as the first minute, leaving the visitors shell-shocked. From there, it felt like Chertsey’s game to lose given just how quickly they came flying out of the blocks. Southall didn’t go down without a fight, however...
