NEW Salamis had keeper Rueben Rabstein to thank for this point as he saved an 84thminute penalty against playoff chasing Maldon & Tiptree.
The host had the better of the early opportunities, forcing a vital clearance from Lewis Jaggs after 22 minutes. Two minutes later, Joe Waight opened the scoring, and Louis Britton found the back of the net after 43 minutes to equalise, only to be ruled offside.
