DARLINGTON’S resurgence continued with a hard-earned win, their seventh in nine games, to haul themselves further away from the relegation zone.
Peterborough Sports were tough opposition and physically more than a match for Quakers who were not at their best, but Cameron Salkeld’s seventh goal of the season secured three vital points.
Sports had the better of the opening exchanges and striker Kaine Felix, who started the season with Darlington, should have hit the target when he flicked a header wide early on.
