BISHOP’S STORTFORD’S 14th league loss in a row mathematically confirmed their relegation from National League North.
AJordan Thewlis double and an impudent solo goal from Billy Fewster secured the points for Alfreton Town, as the hosts made it nine games unbeaten at home.
Stortford worked a good chance early on, as Jack Thomas laid a nice ball off to Aaron Greene, but he drilled his powerful effort wide of George Willis’ posts.
