SCUNTHORPE surged to an away win in new manager Andy Butler’s first game on a frustrating afternoon for the home side.
A tight first half saw little goalmouth action but Alfie Beestin pounced to give his side a 17th-minute lead in a rare scoring opportunity, firing in after debutant Jonny Maxted saved from Kian Scales.
