GREENS IN HAT AFTER WAIT OF 46 LONG YEARS

GORLESTON made it into the FA Cup fourth round qualifying for the first time in 46 years following this excellent win against a team from two levels higher.
Both sides hit early chances over and Gorleston keeper, Jake Jessup, made a fine save to deny Gio Rasulo. Gorleston then lost captain Dominic Docherty through injury after just 16 minutes.
The Greens took the lead four minutes before the break when Kieran Higgs put a defender under pressure who underhit a back pass which Christy Finch latched on to and slotted into the net.
