PAUL Carden urged Mark Beesley not to quit as Warrington Town boss before replacing his old friend in the dugout.
Beesley was Carden’s assistant during a successful five-year spell at Cantilever Park and took permanent charge when the former Peterborough United midfielder departed for AFC Telford United in 2021.
Warrington won promotion to National League North in 2022-23 and finished 12th in their first season at Step 2.
