TIVERTON Town produced something of a surprise when they defeated playoff hopefuls Walton & Hersham on a very difficult playing surface.
Both sets of players struggled to keep their feet on the slippery Ian Moorcroft Stadium pitch.
In the opening minute, Joe Rogalski tried his luck with a long-range shot, but the Walton forward’s effort was just off target.
The first clear chance went Tivvy’s way, a corner reaching Bailey Kempster, but he headed over the crossbar.
