WILL HATFIELD’S stunning volley from the edge of the box meant Darlington returned to the north east with the points from Suffolk.
The first notable chance saw Dan Morphew head Jake Watkiss’ header wide on 29 minutes, before Marcus Garnham held on to Ben Hedley’s powerful shot on 41 minutes.
Maskell headed wide just before the break, before Jake Watkiss’ 47th-minute cross was sliced just wide for a corner.
Ben Hunter meanwhile saw a curling shot held by Jameson on 54 minutes, with the midfielder brilliantly blocking a long-range shot soon after....
