Darlington survived a scare to move through to the next round of the FA Cup after being rocked by Redcar Town.
Playing away to a side three divisions below them, not until they took a 4-2 lead with 14 minutes to go could Quakers feel confident about winning.
A strong wind made life difficult for both teams.
While a combination of Redcar resilience and some woeful Darlington defending meant at one stage the Northern League side led 2-1.
