■ VAUXHALL MOTORS got over the line in a six-goal thriller.
Nick Rushton opened the scoring in the fifth minute with a low strike nestling in the bottom corner.
Half an hour later came the first of two penalties for a foul on Andy Owens. Xenon Bashula levelled the scoring as the tie remained level at half-time.
Four minutes into the second half the Purps took the lead with the second penalty converted by Arthur Lomax-Jones.
