■ IT was honours even in this battle of the NPL East play-off contenders, despite numerous opportunities to break the deadlock.
Stocksbridge struck the woodwork with headers either side of half-time from Paul Iggulden and substitute Jack Dolman, while Garforh rued missed chances from Sam Cable, Matt Antcliff and a late Sam Barker effort that would have won the game in added time.
The result keeps a three-point gap between the sides, leaving them just outside the play-off places although Stocksbridge have two games in hand on the Miners.
