HEYBRIDGE dented hosts Brightlingsea’s play-off charge and joined them on 41 points with a narrow win at North Road.
Swifts took the lead after 18 minutes, a superb passing move around the Regents’ box being finished off by Eddie  Carrington-Alberdi.
Alan Fleischer had an afternoon to remember, making  a string of fine saves, the first  coming after half an hour.
After Brightlingsea had fired over from a great position, Danny Nesbitt nearly made it 2–0, but smashed his  shot off the crossbar.
