■ PAT MCCAFFERTY scored the only goal of the game as Biggleswade FC made it three successive home clean sheets.
The result doesn’t really tell the whole story though as Kidlington were grateful to goalkeeper Charlie Bennett for keeping them in the contest with a number of outstanding saves.
FC deservedly took the lead in the 32nd minute when an Ethan Kessel corner was headed back across goal by Lawrie Marsh and Pat Mc-Cafferty headed home for his second in as many games.
