■ BASHLEY were furious about the penalty that got away. At 1-1in the second half, Jordan Chiedozie broke clear and was brought down from behind as he was about to shoot.
Referee Jacob Wright was unmoved, and almost immediately Shaftesbury took the lead through Brett Pitman.
Earlier, Bashley had gone ahead inside five minutes, winger Kyran Samadi latched onto a stray back pass and rifled it in.
