■ YET another cold afternoon saw two sides serve up an underwhelming display, and the first 45 saw only one shot on target from each side; neither of which troubled either of the keepers. Bideford pressed hard, but Helston were happy to sit back and rely on the counter-attack.
The second half saw more goalmouth action, Helston having three shots that failed to find the target and Bideford two in a similar vein. In the 52nd minute, Josh Webber has a shot blocked on the Helston goal line.
