THE WADERS’ first home win of the season, and only their second of the campaign, may not be enough to save them from relegation, but it certainly pulled their opponents into the dogfight to avoid the bottom four.
After a couple of tame early efforts from Ives, the Waders took control without really troubling Dan Wilks in the visitor’s goal until the closing stages of the first half, when they should have gone in front.
