RUNCORN ended their wait for a first win in 2025 to bookend a miserable week for ten-man Atherton.
Luke Wall opened the scoring in the 39th minute with a perfectly-placed curler – seconds after Danny Lafferty had skewed a shot wide for the away side at the other end.
