MITCHELL Gooch’s dramatic last-gasp equaliser salvaged a crucial point for Stotfold in a thrilling draw against Barton Rovers.
Five points clear of the dropzone, Stotfold faced a tough challenge, and things worsened when Barton’s Taylor Rhiney slotted home a well-taken goal in the 68th minute.
But Stotfold refused to back down, and their resilience paid offin stoppage time.
In the 93rd minute, Gooch was perfectly positioned to meet a long ball and fire home an equaliser that ensured his side left with a vital point.
