Needham Market picked up a crucial three points in their bid to beat the drop against Warrington Town in the National League North – then announced the shock resignation of manager Kevin Horlock.
Seth Chambers fired in a stoppage-time winner from the penalty spot for the Suffolk side.
But a little over half-an-hour after the final whistle, it was revealed Horlock would be stepping down.
The former Manchester City and Ipswich Town midfielder guided the Marketmen to their first ever season in the National League North with Southern Premier Central title glory last season.
