■ GUERNSEY moved out of the relegation zone with a narrow win in a six-pointer against Ashford Town (Middlesex) at Footes Lane.
Marcin Brzozowski was called into early action saving from Ross Allen and Fin Du Port as the Green Lions started well.
Scott Day had Ashford’s first chance, but he fired over the bar.
Charlton Gauvain’s 42nd-minute cutback nearly gave Guernsey the lead, but Brzozowski produced a great save to deny Allen.
