Two second-half goals ensured Scunthorpe United put pressure on leaders Chester with a vital win at Warrington Town in the National League North.
Danny Whitehall fired them in front on the hour mark to break the resolve of the Yellows, who had the best chance of the first half when Elliot Morris was released through on goal only to be denied by Ross Fitzsimons.
At the other end, Dan Atherton snuffed out a chance for Alfie Beestin after Ollie Southern’s hesitation, and then Callum Roberts hit a left-foot shot just wide.
