■ TRAFFORD turned on  the style in the second half to overpower basement side City of Liverpool.
The highlight of a scrappy first half came six minutes before the break when Trafford striker Rio Clegg found himself in acres of space on the right, cut inside and slid the ball home for his 13th goal of the season.
Matty Lusakueno made it 2-0five minutes into the second half, but a sensational strike from Xenon Bahula halved the hosts lead.
