Matt Sargent scored late on to seal the points for Radcliffe after Kieran Burton was sent off for Buxton in the second half.
Radcliffe joint boss Anthony Johnson reflected on the impact of the sending-off, saying: “Obviously, the sending-off helped us massively, but once they went down to ten men, we smothered them.
“The spaces opened up for us, which they don’t like, and we used it really well.
“So, a really pleasing performance on top of a top result.”
