Weston-super-Mare secured a crucial 2-1 win over Aveley in their quest for the play-offs as the hosts were left nine points adrift of safety.

Weston-super-Mare secured a crucial 2-1 win over Aveley in their quest for the play-offs as the hosts were left nine points adrift of safety.
The game took an exciting turn in the 15th minute.
Razzaq Coleman De-Graft’s strike deflected off David Kawa, who sprinted away to celebrate, putting Aveley ahead.
Weston nearly equalised in the 35th minute but Brooklyn Kabongolo made a crucial block on the line to deny Sam Pearson a goal.

The second period was an end-to-end affair, with both teams creating numerous chances.
