Maidstone struck back immediately after Wanderers goalkeeper, Louie Sullivan dropped the ball at the feet of Archie Dobbin, who tapped home from close range.
Dorking regained the lead a minute later through Straker, who outmuscled a defender and calmly finished past Chris Swift one on one, to make it 2-1.
