Josh Barrett’s 95th-minute winner snatched a vital victory in the National League on a tumultuous afternoon at the EBB Stadium where Aldershot Town had to go the extra mile against Hartlepool United.
Barrett’s stoppage time tap-in earned just a fifth home win of the season.
The winner for Aldershot came on a day when the team seemingly had to dig as deep as the group of 50 ‘stray’ Shots fans who collectively travelled 41,000 miles to enjoy a suitably thrilling game.
