■ BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent’s promotion chances received a huge boost after a well-deserved victory over the team that started the day as their closest rivals.
The home side had the first real chance when Louie Johnson dragged a shot narrowly wide. After that Brightlingsea started to exert a greater control on the game and they took the lead through a Michael Okafor header after 40 minutes.
The lead was doubled when Louie Kudiabor made it two on the stroke of halftime. Walthamstow toiled hard without ever looking like threatening the Brightlingsea...
