LEAMINGTON eased themselves towards a mid-table position with this win over a faltering South Shields, who suffered their third reverse of the week and dropped below their hosts in the table.
Paul Holleran’s men have made their home form the bedrock of their season; this their 12th home win.
After testing young visiting keeper Kyle Seymour early with two efforts from Ewan Williams and Tim Berridge, George Ward’s header from a Rob Evans’ long throw saw Brakes ahead after 20 minutes.
