■ BASILDON failed to improve their drop-zone prospect after falling to two late Heybridge Swifts goals.
The Bees got stung by the Swifts after they took the lead in the 19th minute after Jack Adlington-Pile scored after a brilliant pass through. Then in the 29th minute Nathan Best restored parity with a brilliant goal to make it 1-1heading into the half-time interval.
In the second half Ryan Mallet and George Craddock came close for Basildon, but they were made to pay when in the. 87th minute Heybridge were awarded a penalty and Andrew Fennell converte...
