■ON an emotional day for Sheppey United, fans gathered in their numbers to honour their late manager Ernie Batten.
It was all smiles when Dan Bradshaw put the Ites in front after a minute, but the lead only lasted six minutes, Josh Vincent forcing home a Deal equaliser from a corner.
After quarter of an hour, Ben Chapman scored from just inside the box to make it two for the visitors. He then made it three from close range 15 minutes later.
