OVER 1,000 people packed into the Elmbridge Xcel Sports Hub to witness Walton & Hersham and Basingstoke Town play out a highly competitive draw.
The hosts left it late to earn themselves a share of the spoils but despite conceding late on, Basingstoke will take plenty of positives from a characterful display.
The Dragons were a good match for their promotion-chasing hosts and fully deserved their point, which could prove to be an important one gained in their bid to cement their Southern Premier South status.
