ANSTEY Nomads overcame Lye Town on a sunny afternoon.
This was a game in which were both teams needed points but for different reasons, one chasing a play-off spot and one fighting to stay in the league.
Both teams were at the races from the kick-off, although the game was scrappy at times with the flow being very stop-start.
Nomads gained the upper hand from a Rhys Dolan corner which flew directly into the net.
