■ BECKENHAM beat Phoenix by a single goal for the second time in five days to leave them on the brink of the drop.
The game was about two saved penalties.
Just before the break, Jerson Dos Santos saw his poorly-hit spot-kick saved by Mitchell Beeney, and that was repeated again late in the second half.
The only time the net did get ruffled was from a long shot from Theophanous which the keeper couldn’t keep out.
Becks completed a quick-fire double over their local rivals, and kept themselves five points off the play-offs.
