■ BARTON Rovers edged a win closer to confirming their play-off spot as they beat Welwyn Garden City.
Rovers had the best chance of the first 15 minutes when Kian Wilkes caught Joe Welch off his line, but he fired over.
Charlie Milton headed over the bar in the 22nd minute and that was a snippet of what was to come as he converted a header just under 20 minutes later to put the hosts ahead.
