■ MOSSLEY snatched a draw late on against Widnes thanks to a Mason Fawns penalty.
Widnes came into the game needing to win to keep a gap at the top of the table, but the opening exchanges saw both sides struggle to adjust to the pitch.
Widnes pressure eventually told in the opening minute of the second half as a long throw found James Steele, who smashed home from close range.
With the game seemingly about to fizzle out, Wealth Da Silva chased a ball, outmuscling two defenders before being brought down for a penalty. Fawns stepped up to convert and...
