■ MONEYFIELDS battled to a solid away victory against Ashford Town to compile the host’s misery and leave them five points adrift of safety.
With South Park dropping points, Ashford could have cut the gap on safety to two points, only for Moneyfields to leave their survival hopes hanging by a thread.
The visitors raced into the lead in the ninth minute when Callum Laycock finished confidently past Marcin Brzozowskiin goal.
But the Tangerines put up plenty of fight and soon equalised courtesy of an Archie Larkham finish in the 37th minute.
