A BUMPER 1,800 crowd saw Marine defeat a subdued Warrington Town and record a 17th clean sheet of the season.
An eighth goal by winger Finlay Sinclair-Smith was the difference and sent Marine to the cusp of mid-table and consign being joint bottom in January to a distant memory.
Days earlier, Mariners’ Neil Young had shocked the club’s fanbase by announcing that, after six successful years as manager, he will be moving upstairs to be director of football.
