A FRANKIE Merrifield brace in the second-half helped Billericay Town secure victory over Folkestone Invicta to maintain the pace with the fellow title hopefuls.
The pressure started to build following a quiet start to the game and Jack Paxman should have broken the deadlock five minutes later as Tyrell Miller-Rodney’s cross fell for the attacking midfielder whose effort was blocked.
