HENDON will be playing away from the Step 3 Premier divisions for the first time since 1977 after they were relegated following this draw with Chatham Town.
This was not the rip-roaring afternoon of entertainment that the scoreline may suggest, but was absorbing nevertheless as – six goals aside – both teams were guilty of some truly awful misses.
Hendon made one count on 18 minutes when Tope Fadalusi hit the far post and bounced off Reece Butler for an own goal.
