■ WYTHENSHAWE suffered their first relegation in their 80-year history, following a loss to drop-zone rivals Kidsgrove, in a feisty game at Hollyhedge Park.
After a dour first half-hour, Wythenshawe should have taken the lead with a penalty following a coming together in the box; Ammies skipper Andy Keogh hitting the bar, with the rebound miss-hit.
Kidsgrove’s co-manager Matt Rhead brought himself on, changing the game on the hour mark, hitting a post from a corner, with Jack Bromfield following up.
