Boss John Askey hailed the fantastic achievement of his Truro City side, becoming the first Cornish team to win promotion to the National League.
The Tinners, who headed the six-way race for the championship going into the final day, shot out of the traps and were 3-0 up inside the first ten minutes, against a St Albans side who knew victory was the least they needed to keep their Step 2 status.
