WORKSOP Town inflicted an 11th straight defeat on a Blyth side that finished 19 points adrift at the bottom after managing just three league wins all season.
Already guaranteed a second-place finish and home advantage in the playoffs, Worksop finished the regular campaign with an impressive 96 goals after finding a late winner at Croft Park.
For beleaguered Blyth it was backto-back relegations and defeat in Colin Myers’ first game as Spartans permanent manager after operating in a caretaker capacity.
