HIGH-FLYING LIONS ARE DENIED BY RED REBELS

THE curtain came down on another Broadhurst Park season with FC United playing out a draw with play-off bound Guiseley, Michael Donohue cancelling out the opener from John Lufudu.
The home side started on the front foot and went close on 15 minutes when Liam Ridehalgh cleared the ball from inside the six-yard box with Matty Grivosti lurking.
It came as a surprise when the Lions took the lead with their first attack of note on 22 minutes. The ball made its way through the home defence to Lufudu, who finished confidently.
